It’s one thing to have the perfect tube, but you still need to tow it behind the boat. Therefore, pairing the right rope is essential for creating a great experience behind the boat. O’Brien’s dedicated tube ropes stretch to provide a consistent pull and a smooth ride. These ropes are rated for different capacities. For safety and performance, it is important to pair them with the right size towable.
Additionally, there is one last thing that is necessary for tubing, the pump. With the right tools, inflating towables can be incredibly fast and easy. O’Brien has a variety of inflators to simplify this process. For inflating on the boat, go with one of the 12V options. For those filling up on the dock or at the house, using a 110V option may be an easier choice.
Additionally, some inflators are designated as “high pressure.” Not only will these pumps inflate faster, but they also increase the pressure in the tube to make it more firm. For optimum performance, we highly recommend using a high-pressure pump for larger towables.
